Speaking of QJ I haven't seen much activity from her lately, you still out there Queen?
I'm still here, checking in once in a while. Unfortunately, got very busy doing some other things and haven't been doing much shooting. Just dropped Michael a note. I'd love to do a short get together. I haven't done much urban shooting, so it would be challenging for me. (although I've been having an urge to hit the Gold Country lately) I'll be back east 11/20-11/30 visiting family in NY and Georgia and pretty much incommunicado during that time.
Great shots of the bridge from Conzelman Road, and although I've never been able to bring myself to go down the one way section of Conzelman, there's suppose to be great shots from that section also. There's so many great places to see and things to do. Maybe we should start a list of possibilitites? I'll off to run the later starters around (I know Michael hit's the road really early. 4 or 5 am?)
But I'm definitely open to planning something. I'll try to create a list of possible sites and post it here with in the next week or so for everyone to add to / subtract from. How's that sound?

If you did ask for a fee waiver could you check that you entered the right receipt number? This could be someone else's case as I don't think you would qualify for a fee waiver.

Oh yeah, we are seasoned with US immigration oil to look anything thrown to us in a positive manner.
be positive, be optimistic and things will happen on its due course. By that time you will be eligible to become sanyasi as you would have mastered the skills of patience and looking at +ve on -ves.
hmm no shootings now. I am venting my frustrations. You too can do.
I talked to the contact person at competeamerica.org
According to him They wont vote on any immigration bills till after the election.
So it seems it will be after november only.
But look at the positive side. We have more time to contact the law makers.

We were successful in getting good media coverage with flower campaign. Our San Jose rally is getting good regional coverage. Yes, we haven't had the expected success with national media yet but we are gaining traction at an amazing pace.

    Dhundhun,
Thank you for your earlier help. I have one more question. My I485 with approved I140 EB2 catagory PD June 2006 is pending and God knows for how many days. My job as Mechanical Engineer is stable and employer is willing to help me. I have a PhD in Engineering with about 30 years experience in industry and teaching. However, because of industry work I do not have many publications. I am a Fellow of IEI and a recognised PhD guide in Indian University, can get good recommendations too. Can I try for EB1 in some catagory?
    Thanks again
This site gives broad description of EB1 and its classification:
    http://www.visaus.us/pages/greencard-EB1.htm
This is speciality area for lawyers: Can they put in EB-1(b) catagory, which is dependant on research/publication or EB-1(c) if on very senior management?
I think enough publications are required for EB-1(b), my couple of my friends with PhD could not get enough evidence to be placed in EB-1(b).

    Hi All,
I am starting this thread to discuss updates for those who have been waiting for a visa number and whose other processing is complete.
For starters, how soon can we start making an inquiry of status since our Priority date is current now?
    Thank you.

Are interviews instant or do you typically have to wait for a date? A petition approval is not an approval to work, correct? Sorry, I am just learning the process. Is there a link on here that shows how it should be done?
BTW, this person was here on an L1 for another company up until December 07 in US, went home for vacation for a month, sent in paperwork for L1A under new company since current visa lapsed, came back early to US on VW(green form) and then waited here for his new L1 petition to approve - while working. He thinks that this is ok.
    Thanks again!
Interviews are definitely NOT instant. You have to book ahead and fill the respective embassy forms, pay the fee and take necessary documentation to the interview. The approval notice does allow one to work but in order to enter the country to start the job you need a visa in your passport.
This last message you posted poses another question. You can only get an L visa with a company if you have worked for them for one year outside of the US. How does a person file for a new L1 for a NEW company when they have been working on a previous L visa with that company. The company do the filing anyway since L's are employment based visas.
This whole story is getting more curious.

Please talk to a good immigration attorney..following is just my opinion and do not take it as legal advice as every case is different.
If you have filed for AOS and are past the 6 month mark, have a valid EAD then you can invoke AC21 and change jobs.
Else your new company will most probably have to file a fresh labor and I-140 for you however you should be able to port or re-capture your PD..
Again talk to a lawyer or post in the lawyer portal...
    best of luck

Well, I won't blame you guys for your decision if things do not work out. I know that it is very difficult to predict , I am going to go with EB2 06 .Just wanted to know what you would do if you were in my shoes.
If I am you I would go with EB3 I140 and once it gets approve get a copy
of approval and wait until Eb2 date crosses 2004 and find a desi consultant
file labour under Eb2 and file I140 port my PD to EB2 .After filing 485 you
can join desi company at that time.

We can suggest this to ombudsman. Its wastage of time and money on the applicant and the USCIS(tax payers money)

Not flowers . any other time, an emphatic YES.
But we just used flowers as a sarcastic 'Thank You, USCIS' . so it is not the best idea . just a note of Thanks, email or letter - to let her know we are grateful for her stance. It is important that we acknowledge the efforts of people who work to help us.
Everyone is going to think twice now when they get a bouquet of flowers. lol

Anybody who works for consulting co. got extension approved ? without RFE ?
In one of my friend's case they approved H1 for 6 months, because he had contract only for 6 months. He just completed 3 years and this is his first extension request. Who the hell in this world writes contract for more than 6 months even if they have requirements for next 2 years.
Another case I heard was immigration officer at POE granted only 1 year I-94 even though he had 2 years left in his visa. It seems IO spoke to candidates manager and advised him to hire someone locally and get him trained within a year.
Are we in real United States of America? So much of hate around.

    U.S. Attorney's Office

CINCINNATI – David Allen Coe, 76, of Cincinnati, Ohio, pleaded guilty to one count of impeding and obstructing the due administration of the Internal Revenue laws. Coe faces a maximum of three years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Carter M. Stewart, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, Kathy A. Enstrom, Special Agent in Charge, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, Cincinnati Field Office announced the guilty plea entered today before U.S. District Judge Timothy S. Black.

According to court documents, David Allen Coe was a national recording artist in the country music industry. Coe performed at least 100 concerts yearly throughout the United States where he earned income, including during the 2008 through 2013 calendar years. During this same time period, Coe either failed to file his individual income tax returns with the IRS or when Coe did file his individual income tax returns with the IRS, he failed to pay the taxes due and owing. In addition, during this same time period, Coe also owed money to the IRS for prior years of taxes due and owing. Instead of paying his taxes in full, Coe spent the money earned from performing concerts on other debts and gambling.

As part of his entertainer contract, when a concert was booked, Coe required that the total concert fee be deposited upfront. The deposit was either paid by wire or by check made payable to the booking manager's account. The booking manager took his fee out of the deposit and then wired the remaining amount directly to Coe or to Coe's road manager's business account.

In approximately May 2009, Coe stopped receiving these payments by wire into his personal bank account after receiving correspondence from the IRS as to his current outstanding tax liabilities. This action prevented the IRS from levying his bank account to pay his income taxes. The remaining balance of the concert fee was to be paid in cash only, by 3:00p.m.on the day of the concert, with no $50 dollar bills allowed as Coe believed they were bad luck and would not gamble with them. Coe's road manager picked up the cash, which he used to pay himself and the other band members, and then provided the remaining cash to Coe either in person or through MoneyGram or Western Union. Additionally, Coe would sometimes receive cash bonuses from playing concerts. Coe's arrangement to be paid primarily in cash was also in an effort to impede the ability of the IRS to collect on the taxes owed.

Despite earning income from his concerts, Coe willfully failed to pay the income taxes due and owing when he filed his 2009, 2011 and 2013 individual income tax returns. As a result, Coe now owes the IRS $388,190.94 for the 2009 income tax year, $35,640.10 for the 2011 income tax year and $42,733.82 for the 2013 income tax year, which includes the income taxes owed plus interest and penalties.

Coe also owes restitution to the IRS for the taxes due and owing as a result of his 2008 and 2010 tax returns, which said amount will be determined at the time of sentencing. Bank slot machines.

Platinum reels mobile. 'All taxpayers, regardless of their profession, must comply with their federal tax obligations,' said Kathy A. Enstrom, Special Agent in Charge, IRS Criminal Investigation, Cincinnati Field Office. 'As is evident from Mr. Coe's guilty plea, schemes to evade the payment of taxes are a violation of the Federal Tax laws and postpones the eventual need to comply at an even higher cost, including federal criminal prosecution and having to pay back taxes with interest and steep penalties.'

Www old games com review. Sci fi casino. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jessica W. Knight and was investigated by special agents of IRS-Criminal Investigation.
